Fake... report to ebay!  :twak:

Seller states its a good copy but it is a bootleg piece of garbage. Period.

Here is some information to substantiate my claim:

The seller does describe it as a copy so I woldn't report it to Ebay.
Yes it is illegal for others to put the Victorinox name and logo on anything.
Thankfully there are enough differences that the fake can be distinguished from the real thing - hopefully in the auction photos !

The party has confessed - an "honest" middleman.  The source is the law-breaker.
Bust China !!  Or tell Victorinox.  They (and Wenger) have gone after illegal imports before...

There was a glut of these a few years ago, enough that it warranted a SOSAK article: http://www.sosakonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=379&Itemid=35

Both articles excellent analyses of the comparison.
The chinese are giving themselves a bad reputation with this illegal stuff...

Funny that the ad seems to indicate that the brand name of this fake may be literally COPY (or Copy:twak:

Quote from the ad:

"The COPY Rescue Tool, has all of the same functions as the real one. It is of very good quality for the price."

I'm not sure if its the same person but I do know there was one person on ebay selling these fakes because he bought a ton of them and believed they were real. Then someone told him they were fake.

I bought a couple chinese counterfeits from two different Ebay sellers who had the exact same format on their Details about Seller - I figured they were one person. I wanted the knives (cheap price) to write an article on counterfeit SAKs.  I asked them after getting the knives and both said they didn't know, one offered a partial refund, other said he would research whether the knives were copies or not.
Bought a ton of 'em (for about a dollar each) believing they were real?  There's a nice bridge in Brooklyn we could sell him...

Anybody have one of these knock-offs they're willing to get rid of? I have a collection of fake SAKs and need this one.
This is gonna hurt...

Maybe ask the user in the ebay listing if he/she has any more.

I don't think any one here would have bought one, I know I would not have. I rather have the real thing.
