I know this might sound weird but I want a Byrd Raven with aluminum handles and plain black blade. I've been searching for months. I finally found an aluminum handled Raven but it had a stainless serrated blade. I bought it anyways. I'm still looking for a plain black blade but if I can't find one, I may just swap the serrated for a plain stainless blade from a new model.

I got into Byrd knives because that's my name. I bought a few just because of the cool factor of owning a knife with my name on it. The Byrd Crow is a smaller version of the Raven and I fell in love with that knife. The handle is so comfortable. But its too small. So finding a Raven became a challenge.

And I know it all seems weird to want such a cheap knife but I can't help it.

Not weird at all. I spent a year searching for a $10 SanRenMu. It was the model number, 718 now long discontinued. I finally saw it at a collection pic of a member on a different forum, who agreed to sell it to me for 13 shipped. Honestly, at that point I'd have payed 50+ for it. Keep searching and good luck

For a long time I've been drooling over the torquise Spyderco Kopa, well any Kopa but that blue one is just dreamy. Getting a Spyderco calendar with all the Kopas ever made didn't help. It's way out of my price range and really a Spyderco collectors item, but one can dream.

A close second is the Centofante 2

I had both back in the day. I can't tell you which one I miss the most but I used the C44 the most of all the knives I had.
