Victorinox Olympic Beaver?

Hi, does any one know anything about a SAK known as the "Olympic Beaver" it's a 58mm knife, I'm guessing a classic with special scales, but I'm guessing.  It was made in the Swiss Army Brands Grey box days.

Good find. It can't be Amik as that's too old.  I'm thinking it must be 1995 or later.  SABI Product code was 73220.  Since SABI did it, I'm thinking it must be US or North America Olympics.

I just found that it must be related to the 96 Atlanta games because 73221 code was the Coke Touch Relay SAK and 73218 was the green Centennial games, 73217 was Atlanta.

Now, seriously, hopefully somebody here gas one (with box) and can share pics and details. Tried to search for and could not find any such Classic, although it is very likely there was one for the 1976 Summer Olympics when Amik was the mascot.

There was Canadian Wildlife series that included a Companion beaver (also a 91mm version), but can't  think of anything 'beaverish' with the Olympics.

That is correct, except Amik I could not see any other Olympic beaver mascot yet. Here is a list of them all, main ones:

Ya I did a search and it just does not seem to match the 96 olympics bit the date is perfect and so is the code based on the other codes.

I wonder if it was a mistake... make a buch of beavers and they find out the mascot is now Izzy?  I don't know... some other info very loosely leads to this being a mistake... maybe it was only the labeling that was a mistake, but the number should clarify that.  I have some information that indicates the run had some mistake and never made it to retail sales.

One more piece of information the label is Olympic Beaver CR ... I can't remember seeing CR before, might be a color code, but it does not ring a bell right now.

I have a Spartan with a British Olympics logo. Reportedly it was sold to raise money for the UK team in one of the Olympics (don't know which one). Just a possibility but maybe the Olympic Beaver was intended for a similar purpose in Canada.
