I like the Shard.  I do prefer thicker tools but for its price, the Shard is one of the best OPTMs around.  I use the philips head screw driver regularly and the pry bar is unsurpassed IMHO for opening syrup tins.  I'm consider getting another one because I really wouldn't like to be without it.

I carry my MT.O Shard on my keychain.
Great one-piece tool for the money!

I agree. You can't beat it's utility considering pricing and size. It's my most regularly used OPT.

I think it's good, for its price.

I love its size and I love the weight but purely utility wise an OPMT needs to offer other things on my keychain, like wrenches. Screwdrivers are on pretty much all tools already, likewise with the bottle opener. So what it offers for me is just a prybar and a nailremover.  If you have a minimalist keychain with for instance a Style PS I can see it being a good combo, but if you already got a micra or a decent SAK it just offers too much duplicates.

No "love" for the Shard, but it is the only one piece tool I occasionally carry. In fact I am struggling to think of a time when I've actually used it

It really is useful to me, mostly used for opening paint tins
The blade can be too sharp sometimes as its a bit like a Exacto blade, good for removing splinters  :tu:

I bought one to try out and literally the first beer I open gets a fairly large chip in the bottle. It ruined the shard for me.

I have the picture I will dig up.
