Was browsing though an independent outdoor shop and came across this twin pack of lefty Sporks.  Well I didn't know they did a lefty version and I felt compelled to pick up a pack.

Does it make much difference? I have to ask, since I am correct-handed and only have sporks for normal people.  ;)

probably not. ;)  All it means is that the cutting edge is on the opposite side so when you are holding it left handed the edge is better placed to use. :)

:)

I have loads of the Light My Fire sporks, as I like them so much I use them in the kitchen as well, but the knife implementation on them... well... not my favourite. Reminds me of the hook on a SAK, really. It is sometimes useful, but most people wouldn't miss it. :)

I like the LMF Sporks as well, though if I hadn't broken mine on my recent trip I wouldn't have bothered buying any new ones.  I actually really like the smaller ones that come without the cutting edge at all.

I like those little sporks a lot too.

I'm not a fan of the cutting edge on the full-sized one either. I found these stainless ones at Cost Plus World Market. They were less than two bucks and made of heavy stock.

:tu: I usually prefer steel to titanium. (Though I do have a couple of titanium sporks, doesn't everybody?  :D )

Hey, those are cool!  I'll have to sneak a pack of them into the basket the next time my wife and I go to REI.

Those little ones are quite a bit smaller than the regular sized ones.  About the size of a large teaspoon say.  Very handy IMO.

I have a LMF Ti spork, didn't like it because all the curves and dishes taking up a lot of space, just grab a fork and spoon out of kitchen drawer would be more compact.

For the last two weeks while camping, I've used nothing else for eating than a LMF Meal kit (with spork).
Everything was prepared on a Trangia stormkitchen, large chunks were cut before cooking or frying.

For me, it's an ideal package - much better than a loose plate, cup, spoon and fork - but everyone has different preferences I guess :)

My new spork (and old Trangia) got a good workout over the weekend; heating up and eating some chicken curry and haggis, not at the same time I hasten to add. ;)

What the? Lol. The pic for the lefty sporks is a right hand using a righty spork. As a left handed person, I'm not impressed.

Sent them an email letting them know a few hours ago and now the image has been mirrored. No reply from them yet though.

A metal version of one of those would indeed be excellent. :tu:
