What has happened to VSAKCS the website is no longer available, all I saw was the following
"NOTICE: This domain name expired on 01/30/2012 and is pending renewal or deletion"

I had my dues sent back by Dan Jaquart, apparently he has stepped down and is supposed to be handled by Freeport knife.Thats the last i heard.Too bad Dan was a good guy.There was a thread about this not long ago.

Dan has retired as of last summer. I'd had an article ready for Sosakonline ready to go but the software there crashed around the same time.

The Monster-58 was not Dan's mod, it belongs to another member.

Hah, I just bought a SwissTool BO, (his last one) from the Freeport Knife Company. I did not know the man's name who waited on me until I read your post. He was extremely knowledgeable. It had to be Doug Dillman.

I asked Dan (former president VSAKCS) and he told me it's a real offer.
All VSAKCS members will receive this offer sooner or later.
The knife is a 91mm "Waiter" ... called workman...

I'm not sure it even exists anymore. Doug Dillman at Freeport Knives in Maine was doing the club knives but beyond that I don't know.
