So who here is guilty of asking Les this question found on Les Stroud's official wesite?

http://www.lesstroudonline.com/faq.php

Quote
Q: What multi tool do you use?
Les: My favourite multi tool is the Leatherman Wave or Charge. But I haven't tried them all.

Come on! Fess up! :P

Sounds like hes filming another series judging by that FAQ, excellent. Havent heard from Ray Mears in years, I hope hes got something in the works too.

I just watched the one where he was in South Africa and i think he was using a Wave to cut up the hot air balloon for shelter.  :multi:
People balloon into africa?? :o  Well, the closest thing I saw was the film "Wild Geese" Where mercenaries were airdropped out of a C-130 into africa :-\

So, that means he doesn't like the SwissTool. In the Lost at Sea and Plane Crash and also Baffin Island episodes he uses the SwissTool. he also used one in an episode before there was Survivorman..

I don't think he doesn't like the Swisstool. I think he just prefers the Wave.

besides, retail-logistically speaking, LM are easier to aquire(I'm talking "regular" stores, NOT internet businesses). So if Les had to give up his Wave "at the border" :ahhh :twak:, He can probably get one, at the nearest "foriegn" Wal~Mart,as soon as he crossed over. :multi:

Watch season 2 in Laborador. The safety crew had a snow mobile breakdown, and one of them was using a Gerber Multi-Plier!!

I thought Survivorman with Les was a current show

And since when did all these "spoof" Survivorman vids on Youtube appear?  I can't find any REAL episodes on there!
Nah, he made 2 seasons of it and now its over, only about 14 episodes in all.

He did make 2 seasons but there are 17 eps 9 reg & 1 behind scenes for 1st season and 6 reg & 1 behind scene for 2nd season. Plus he also made some other specials that are pretty neat. One is Off The Grid made in between season 1 and 2 about him and his familys move from main society to a simplier lifestyle.  Also he did another about natural disasters and how to survive in the event of one.  There are more but don't know as much about the rest of them. :D
