Harley Davidson replacement tools
on: August 15, 2012, 08:56:48 PM
For those of you with SOG tools that want to bling their tool out some, SMKW has boxes of HD knives, files, Phillips, and serrated blades down by their knife sharpening booth downstairs.  The spare parts are a lot cheaper than from SOG, at about $1 a tool. o.o;

Smoky Mountain Knifeworks - www.smkw.com; you can find a couple of the tools listed on their website, but I'll be back in Sevierville in a couple weeks, if you want to give me a shopping list.  Tennessee has a 10% sales tax, though, just as an FYI. :)

Here are the links:

H-D Saw Blade for Multi-tool

File Blade for Multi-tool

Knife Blade

Serrated Blade

Phillips Screwdriver

Too bad that there are no scissors or V-cuter or 1/4 driver

Could you pick up a saw for me the next time you're there? ;) Thanks. :salute:

Do these HD tools actually fit SOG PowerLocks, PowerAssists, PPPs?  Are the tools fully
finished?

I bought some other knife parts from SMKW once and they were basically rough cut blanks which
were unfinished.

Thanks.

These are the SOG-made replacement tools for their HD-branded multitools.  I believe they're fully finished, I didn't have much time to look at them in person due to needing to get back to the hotel room due to an early start the following day.  Their other knife parts are for making your own knives, to various degrees; these are just excess spare parts.

Their small boxes probably hold five hundred copies of each tool, though. :P  That's a lot of sales tax.  :ahhh

So far looks like SMKW handle good prices.

I'm headed there tomorrow, so if anyone wants anything, let me know by noon EDT tomorrow, on the fifth, otherwise I won't know to get it. :P

Sazabi,

Thanks for the alert about the HD/SOG replacement bits.   I ordered a few today.  :tu:
