opinel clip and ppp clip

well as AHB (alan) kindly sent me a clip for my ppp i got around to fitting it this am, i put a thick washer under the clip and a thin one on top and then added a little too much blue loctite on purpose  this way its all stuck( the pliers come out a treat) its now my perfect edc and ill test out the clip to see how it goes, as alan sent me that clip i had a one left here from ages ago that i cut to fit something  well it was my only clip so i decided to also fit it to my opinel #8 that i carry for camping hiking etc,i had to carve it down to make it solid

its nice now we have this sunny weather chrissy as i can clip the ppp to my shorts and have the tinker in my pocket

That looks great!!    Never would have thought that the Opinel would suit a clip, but that look like it really works on that knife.

I think its really worth it on this tool Jamie, for me this is a pst sized tool but the option of altering the tools, now its even better

cheers mate, i know what you mean as the opie is a old style knife but ive wanted to add a clip ever since seeing another done i think on BB , makes it easyer to find clipped to the pocket

Think I'll probably have the clip on the opposite end of the tool, for a deeper carry, will mean a bit of modification to an existing clip or making one from scratch, but it'd suit my needs a bit better. Good job on the Opinel too.

Most who have done this mod seem to put it where ive put mine, i did it as the tool will open in your pocket the other way around, yeah happy with the opinel ive also done a EZ opening groove as well and a finger groove, this is my favourite opie although have a few now and have a few others i like to carry,

I think it should be fine, as mine it still fairly new it won't open under it's own weight. Means I can't flip it open but I rarely need to access the pliers with a single hand. I'm sure it'll loosen up over time.

you can loosen or tighten the bolts, ive found that sogs flip open pretty easy tightened or not
