Why no Wingman/Sidekick mods?

I figured their would be alot of cross ups but I haven't seen any yet? Is it because the tool is of slightly lesser quality and thus not carried as much? I have a Wingman because it is the more useful of the 2 in my opinion but I wish I had the PE blade in place of the combo, and the smaller SE blade in place of that dumb little ruler thing.

Give us time  i was put off this model due to feedback but i see me getting one at some point due to its price, im also not sure if anyother LM parts fit these    someone will know       glad your enjoying your LM

Can't you just get a Sidekick and swap out the PE for the CE, and you can always rough sharpen the ruler (made from 440 if I recall) and sharpen it?

Money is tight at the moment so no more MT's for this guy for a while.

I was mostly asking since I figured their would be alot of Wing-kick and Side-man mash ups. Especially since they are the same basic tool with different implements.

Yup there were a few when they first came out,

but I think interest has been pretty low on them.

I wasnt impressed TBH with them at all so I didnt have any interest in trying to improve one.

But that is awesome, and exactly what I would like to wind up with on my Wingman. Ofcourse, now I want to put the scissors from the Wingman onto my Wave, so I will need a second Wingman to pull off both mods. Man, I really wish Leatherman sold individual implements.

I swapped the partially serrated blade on my Wingman for the Sidekick's plain edge blade. Fits just fine.
I wanted to remove the knife blade and install the saw from the Sidekick, thus having both the scissors and a saw since I carry a separate knife. I figured this would be easy since the saw has a detent hole that goes all the way through both sides. Nope. The saw will replace the scissors, but it's too large to fit in the knife slot. Doing so would require filing it down to size, but then you couldn't put it back in the "correct" slot.
I also find the ruler on the Wingman useless, so I cleaned it and used super glue to attach some 400-grit sandpaper.

That's closer to a rebuild... but it works well and he appears to use it as an EDC so I think it was worth it to him.
