Hello from dorset in the uk
on:
August 16, 2012, 11:17:31 PM
Hi all
Im from weymouth in dorset you may have seen my home town recently on tv, on the coverage of the sailing in the olympics. Ive always owned a swiss army knife since about the age of seven, but have only just started to expand my collection to other multitools. I now have 5 leathermans where this time last year i had none.
Finally joined this forum after a long time lurking in the shadows i originally found this forum after trying to identify a SAK that i bought back in the late 90s.
Thats enough about me
Hope to have some fun on this forum and learn lots of new things
Cheers
Gary

I know I said it already in your SAK thread but it can't hurt to repeat myself. Welcome to the forum Gary.
BTW, mind if I ask what Leatherman's you have?

Thanks for the welcome gareth, i have a PSTII, a sideclip, a squirt P4, a juice s2, and a second generation wave with leather pouch. I picked up the sideclip and PSTII at local carboots, and have been keeping my eyes open for any more i can find

Getting a PST II and Sideclip from a car bootie is more than a bit lucky mate.
While I don't have a Sideclip myself I am a big fan of my PST II.

Just to rub it in, i managed to pick the sideclip up for £1, i couldnt believe it when he told me thats all he wanted i was chuffed to bits. Though when i bought it, it was in a right state and covered in rust and silicone. But when i opened it up the tools were virtually pristine inside i dont think it had ever been used as the tools were still very sharp. I had never even heard of a sideclip before i bought it though, i still have lots to learn... Ive only been a member 2 days and thanks to the patience of you guys i ve already learnt loads.

Welcome mate. £1 for a side clip. I don't even see Leathermans (or saks for that matter) at car boots here in Sheffield.

I think was a bit of a fluke really, it was so covered in rust and gunk on the outside i dont think many people would have been able to tell what it was.
