He he he...

Take a walk, let me know how you like it!

I took a hike with the Teleforce head and that has some good throw to it
doesn't it?  Crank it up to 200 Lumen and it worked great!  It's a pretty deep
reflector!

Yes, that it might.  It's bright, light, and of slim profile.   I'm sure would be very
easy to clip onto a bike somewhere and being an on, off, one stage clicky it's sure
not to be fiddly when you need it most. :)

Therein lies the problem with my LD10, it's really hard to operate the switch while wearing winter gloves while your cycling :-\

I was looking at one of those yesterday in shop.  Nice little edc with good lumen
that one you have.  :tu:
I'm pretty much sold on now going forward with mosty AA powered lights.  I'm really
finding I'm not getting much more than expense, and lower runtimes with the cr/rcr123
setups.

I think AA is the way to go too, as they just work out much  cheaper to run compared to Cr123's, especially over on these shores.

Just bought a couple more Fenix lights.  Love the E20 btw.  Couldn't believe the throw
it has.  Here are the new one's I'm awaiting, both powered by AA.

two cell units.

Mike what is a Jammie?  I tried the slang dictionary but didn't come up with anything
that made sense?   :)

Now for the next couple of nights I'm going to spend some time with the Vantage
I received from Gunga.  It came with a Teleforce deep reflector head and took it
out the one night and it really throws that beam out!  It has a quality feel to it
and also is powered by AA batteries.

Nice looking light Gareth!  What kind of runtime can you expect from the 300 lumen drop in?
I also like what they've done with that clip, two way!  :tu:

Wicked looking head as well. Kinda reminds me a bit of a SF 6P Defender.

Yeah, the clip is pretty good. :tu:  As for the run times, here is the spec for the drop-in: http://www.solarforce-sales.com/product_detail.php?t=RB&s=28&id=34

So 1.5 hours at maximum.  No idea how accurate this is as I've not done any tests myself.

It's certainly 'sharp', a bit of a pocket shredder I suspect. :-\

I've got to order a few drop-ins to replace the poor 60L's some of my surefire's
came with.  I need an hours run time on rechargeables though so I have to watch
the Lumens.
