I've always been a big fan of the 110 but its just too big to EDC in your pocket and large locking folders strapped to your belt isn't a good idea here in the UK at times.So I looked at the 110's little brother the 55. Same thing just smaller at half the size. Fits lovely in the little watch pocket in my jeans.

I too hope to add a 55 to my collection. I know the ecolite might be lighter but the look is not the same

The weight wasn't the problem it was the size , the 110 is a very capable knife but it is big , too big for me to EDC but I wouldn't hesitate to take it camping or hunting if I was into hunting.I've used it on meat in the kitchen and I was impressed. The 55 is just a great little knife , a 110 in miniature

I got the 55 a few weeks ago....definitely a great little pocket knife. Im glad I bought it!
