Excellent value folder. I HIGHLY recommend one! :tu:

According to Jeff Randell Ontario is working on a smaller scale rat 1 folder.

Good knife. Good value. Little large for my EDC purposes- but solid.

I picked one up to review a few months ago. For $30 bucks it's one of a few to choose from that is good quality for it's price point. Check out my review on my site (in sig).

I'd say the folders will be fine, but I'd steer well clear of the big fixed blade bush knives, like the RTAK... there are all sorts of videos of them on you-tube snapping in half.  IMHO, a $100 blade should be able to handle a lot more abuse than the simple things I've seen in some of the vids of them breaking in half.

Thanks for the heads up Heinz. I am honestly going to save the RAT for another time. I rather spend the extra cash and get a Spyderco Dragonfly H-1, Plain Edge.  :ahhh

EDIT: Almost forgot FRN Grips, and a Saber Ground blade.  ;)

I understand the appeal of the saber grind, but prefer the full flat grinds myself.  The Dragonfly is a sweet little knife though, no matter the variation.  In fact, I think you could even use it as a keychain knife if you take the clip off and put a split ring through the lanyard hole.
