Taking my Brompton in to my lbs to have the gearing lowered this week

The higher gears just kill my back now, so grannie gears all the way now $:-\$

To think i use to remove the granny gears on my MTB and now use them a lot

I know what you mean mike, when im in a car and i do drive with angie in the car i dont feel comftorable and its funny that when im on a bike i have a six sense but in a car im the opposite

its a bubble and i cant connect with the world around me, i do like old cars and if i wont the lottery i would get a few classics but my bicycle collection would be bigger

I've always felt too safe in cars, and the visibility is so crap you wouldn't see the danger until it was too late anyway

I just realised that I have a bicycle collection too; mostly old ones...

All are functional, with good tyres, brakes etc..

The Blue diamondback is the one I use when cycling. I have only replaced the tyres and the gears shift system.. Must be 20 years old, I think....
