new boy from the UK looking for a 12 step plan !
on: September 02, 2012, 02:36:12 PM
thought it was time to stop being a 'wall flower', join your forum, and introduce myself so here goes.

"my name is Michael, ....and i AM a Multitooloholic !"

i thought i had control of it, and believed i could quit if i wanted to, but i think i may need help ! is this the right place ?
I've always been obsessed with all things 'sharp and pointy',in a non-psyco way.
I've collected Knives since i was old enough to be allowed to own one (and i had very liberal parents), i have dabbled in guns and all things 'survival and bushcraft'. Although living in England with it's Draconian laws, along with my inherent laziness, i've probably only scratched the surfice of some of the things you guys here do all the time.
Gadgets, tools and anything that i can fiddle with that makes a 'klicking noise' has some kind of magnetic pull so getting into MULTITOOLS was just bound to happen.
I'll warn you all now i do like your forum, and i love a good debate as any of the poor souls on my 'Facebook friends list' will bear witness to, and i do spend far to much time hunched over my lap-top, between family crisis', hoping to go unnoticed by the Wife and Daughters and be left in peace to surf the WWW for stuff normal folk wouldn't understand !
I WILL SHARE MY VIEWS AND THOUGHTS !
(that's not something i can help either, but i do not like to cause offence so please don't take me too seriously)
I'm a bit of a dinosaur with the 'tec' and i'm very slow, but i'd love to do some 'reviews' on here, and if/when i can get my teenage kids to teach me how to up or down load photos i shall be going crazy with the camera to share my 'toys'.
Love some of the stuff already on here, i'm specially fond of the things done by the very tallented 'mod squad' and i'm guessing it is only a matter of time before i get my hands dirty, cos like so many others i'm still on a quest for "The One !"
that's about it for now, i just need a sponsor ???
let the fun begin !!!

Welcome aboard! Finding «The One» would be sort of worrying, wouldn't it? No more reason to continue the fun hunt for the perfect multi. :D

And last time I checked, sharing views and thoughts was highly welcome here, though I guess someone will correct me if I'm wrong. ;)
