Again great thread loki I love the !!!MINI!!! I don't believe that there ever was a camo version of this tool made by Leatherman if you have seen 1 I am sure it is an aftermarket paint job Chako knows more about getting them panted aftermarket I believe as he has several and perhaps they are from the same person not absolutely sure about that though thanks for putting your time in these threads
My Mini has date codes of 0395 and 0595, but does NOT have hard wire cutters. Is this common. From your post I believe it says the 1994-2000 have hard wire cutters. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this or if I have my facts wrong. Thanks.
It is quite possible that the change to the new pliers (with wire cutter for hard wire) occurred later than in the PST. I have focused on a period of history zamny pliers to PST. MiniTool on my 1995 already with cutting pliers for hard wire.

I guess its either before they changed it that year or the off chance it was sent in for warranty and came back with new handles.
Here is the info you requested Loki. Most likely a first production run Mini Tool. No markings on either handles. Pliers & blade marked Leatherman USA. Knurled screws are thinner than average as found on many early PST's.

Leatherman told me it was a first production run but I'm not sure.
This is what I was talking about in that last post.
I'm not sure about the thickness off the screw head. How do I know if it's thinner? Anyway here are some old pictures of it.
