Not having a good week ...

Sunday: Killed my phone - thankfully an upgrade was overdue anyway

Monday: Car goes in for repairs on handbrake - £90

Tuesday: Replacement phone arrives ... and ... there's issues ...

Wednesday:
Afternoon: Bounced around 4 different multinational organisations trying to get a fix on the phone issues
Evening: Start to do some work at home then a mate phones with an issue - the work doesn't get done
10:30PM I decide to nip out and pick up some tobacco to save me 10 mins in the morning.
10:40PM front section of exhaust seperates from middle box and starts dragging on the road.
10:50PM I've forked out £150 for annual membership and initial call out of a breakdown company.
00:25 breakdown company arrives
00:50 Temporary repair carried out and told I'll need at least a new back section and middle section tomorrow
01:05 Arrive home with tobacco (yep, that saved 10 mins  ::)

Thursday: Alarm goes off at 05:45 and I'll need to swallow whatever bill is thrown at me for the exhaust repair, plus I've got a scenario to face at work that I could really do without

Friday: I'll let you know when I get there  :facepalm: )

that does definitely qualify as a bad week. :(  I hope Friday is better.

Cheers guys  :salute: Exhaust bill was £135 which puts this week's expenditure on things going wrong at £375.00 so far, plus I have to find about £120 on Saturday to pay a man with van who's shifting some stuff for me  ::)

Fridays tend to be crackers for me(even when I was a kid I LOVED Fridays :D) , I hope yours is a good un Al , hang in there mate  :tu:

Car trouble definitely put kink on a good day, let along several of them together. I have some problem with mine but been putting it off, which surely will come bite me in the rear someday.

I concur, a car repair bill can dampen all spirits and in my experience have ruined quite a few otherwise good days  >:(

Exchanged heated words with one of the Directors at work and decided to take a half day to catch up on stuff at home that's fell behind due to the chaos, rather than stay there and say something I might regret. I thought, before I start I'll put a pizza in and just have a quiet sit down. Fell asleep and burnt the pizza! Figured, I'll have a quick sandwich instead, and got halfway through building it before noticing the bread had gone mouldy ...

The week hasn't finished yet  ::)
