Sat trying to get my OHT to be a fliky and I've only just noticed that the patterns on the scales are the tools in that location

New OHT caught my eye at Wally World and begged me to bring home.  I could not turn my back! (Thought to good a deal, too).

Awesome deal for $40. I was never to thrilled with the thought of owning a OHT but for $40 I would give it a shot.

Thank you all.  OHT was not in my sights either.  Always look at knifes at Walmart and it was by itself with the 40 tag.  From my lessons at MTO, "do not walk away from a bargain",

It is a BIG tool, and its tools have a smooth movement requiring no break-in effort.

$40 is a great deal LC :o :o :like: :like: I am at odds with the OHT  I want to like it but it is a bit bulky for some of the tools being smaller than they should be   Still it is a nice addition to the collection :like: :like:

Had chance to wipe done and work with my new OHT tonight.
1. It is a very large MT.
2. The blades are easily accessible.
3. The blades are small in proportion to the overall size.
4. This a heavy tool, not for pocket carry. Best in Molle sheath attached to bag or body type rig for access, or a bag's inside pocket.

My present plan is to substitute it with my Gerber Diesel as the Phillips and small flat blade appear usable for my my work tasks on tap for this week.

No, was not aware of the bit kit for the Diesel. Do have both LM bit kits, for my Wave and Rebar.

I am yet to use the saw, but I suspect that is the only tool that I will find too short.
So far everything else I have used, including the knives, have been fine despite their length for what I have used them for.

A question for those who have pulled an OHT apart: which Leatherman multitools are the bigger tools (knife/saw/strapcutter) compatible with?

I have used the saw quite a bit,  and did not find it too small.  It made quick work of small-medium branches and was comfortable in the hand.
