Today I am reviewing the Benchmade 580 Barrage assisted folder. I got this knife from a buddy of mine to demo and review. I'carried this knife over the last couple of days cutting up boxes, branches, rope and other misc items. As I expected, this knife has tremendous cutting abilities. Benchmade knives are in my mind one of the best on the market and certainly one of the best for the money. This Benchmade 580 is balanced well, slim and narrow enough I can wear it in my front jeans pocket daily while still allowing both fast deployment and access to the contents of my pocket without displacement.
