Linerlock Soldier?

Have any of you guys thought about making a Soldier into a linerlock? It doesn't seem like you would even have to remove the backspring.

I supose it would be technicaly possible (at a price) but why bother ???, a Soldier already is one of the strongest slippies out there anyway :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I supose it would be technicaly possible (at a price) but why bother ???, a Soldier already is one of the strongest slippies out there anyway :)
Is the soldier a legal EDC in this country ?without the lock of course! .Forgive the ignorance I couldn't find anything on blade length using this piece of modern technology

As appletree said its well under the 3 inches.
