Those are beautiful, Karl! And isn't that a different/unusual bail?

The one in the top center with the bail has custom silver scales with British hallmarks.

Nice I believe I have a 58mm model with the same marks, will try to post later.  Mine looks hand riveted, and has a unique tool configuration... not sure if it was posted here before the owner put it on ebay.

Took this image a few days ago, but I'm not really happy with it so I was planning on retaking it... but for comparison with it's 74mm brother I think it is good enough.   I added a crop inset of the hallmarks, but they are not very clear since the image quality was poor to start with.

Update1: added a close up of the hallmarks... still not very good but legible.
Update2: replaced halmarks image with a better one.

ICFT,

Mine is almost identical to yours. Did some research on British hallmarks. The 'WM' is Willaim Manton, established in 1974. The anchor is for the Birmingham proof house. The lion indicates it is sterling. The final letter is a date code. My 'N' is 1987; your 'I' is 1983.

Thanks!  I've been too busy to do much SAK research lately. I think I way over paid for mine I was thinking it was older.

My latest Executive, but whats interesting about this one is that the stamp is horizontal with the blade,I have only seen this on the 58mm blades and not on the 74mm blades.

BTW does anybody have any idea about the inlay it says "KRONE"

Another RocKnife (Ambassador) arrived today! I thought it was the Pantheon Granite one, but it turned out to be Baltic Brown instead:

Yes, it's a terrible picture.

Thank you Karl !
I am glad that the other two went to Reinier, because he has a amazing collection of 74mm SAK's and now these knives are with their "brothers".  :)

Those are very nice Karl. I am guessing they have a blade and nail file? Are any of them gold? Or is it just the flash or lighting making it look that way.

Wayne,

All five are silver-colored and appear to be stainless steel. The middle one, marked Abercrombie & Fitch on the blade, has some staining on the handle (some food acids will do that). All have two pen blades and a long manicure blade. Three are marked Wenger/Tahara; one is Wengerinox, and one is Wenger/Switzerland, so the model appears to have been in production for a considerable time.

For those of you who have the Executive, how is the blade lock up on that knife?

I have 58mm Midnite Manager that I use for the scissors, file, and bottle opener, but I'm hesitant to use that razor sharp sliver of a blade - it's just too small and folds too easily.  I normally carry another knife and I always end up using it when I need a blade.

My absolute favorite too on SAK's (vs other knives) is the scissors.  I like the scissors on the full-sized (91mm) knives, but they're not so great for fine work.  On the other hand I find the scissors on the 58mm knives to be great for fine work, but limited in the tasks they can handle.  I think the Executive scissors may be a good balance between the two.
