LARRY Hagman — Dallas legend JR Ewing — died last night aged 81 after complications following his recent battle with throat cancer.

Given that I loath Dallas as a show,I was very sad to hear about Larry passing away.One of the great screen villans.He was great in The Eagle Has Landed too!

I never watched Dallas, but enjoyed the re-runs of I dream of Jeannie.

He did attain a legendary status with JR though.
