Whole Hungary is buried under snow. Though it's only 15+ centimeters (~7 inches for you imperial style folks), the road maintenance service simply cannot keep up. I live about 20 kilometers from my workplace, and it took me two hours. On highway.

And the same happens every damn time when some snow decides to fall...

I'm a private contractor specializing in cargo surveying. I go to all the different ports and train yards, warehouses, shipyards, and pretty well anywhere cargo changes hands or falls down....

St. Joseph, Michigan is located in my sales territory. I often drive by the shores of Lake Michigan so take in the sights. On a typical day the north pier looks like this

Lately we've had a lot of high winds and frigid temperatures which resulted in the smaller light house getting covered in ice.

I have a mixed problem right now. I'm in the office at the moment and there's only one small window I can see from my desk, and it's almost completely obscured by a stairwell just outside so I really can't see anything through it.

Of course, since all there is to see outside is a bleak parking lot covered in snow and ice I think not being able to see isn't such a bad thing.
