$18 for shipping? That just kicked the price right back up.  :-X I know it won't cost more than $5 to ship first class.

I just worked it out, and $57.39 is still a hell of a lot better price than Canadian Tire's....

Only $8.50 to ship to the Continental U.S., where we don't have any Canadian Tire stores ;)

Oh what the hell, I just placed an order for one. (When your credit card balance is as high as mine is, a little bit more doesn't matter right?) ::)

No point in holding off and paying more later!

Looks appealing enough except for the shorty drivers, I'd be all over it if they had drivers like the Leatherman Core. It will be interesting to see what you guys say after some real world testing. The last Gerber multi-tool I had pinched my palm badly, one to many times, so I sold it.

Longer drivers would mean a longer tool overall, and/or a protruding tip when the pliers are closed (à la Diesel), and/or eschewing the sliding pliers altogether.

Can't have everything.

Ain't gonna happen with the Flik.

But I would rather a longer tool with nice long drivers rather than a medium tool with short drivers!

Another thing I don't like about it besides the stubby driver is the unsharpened portion on blade. Can't do work like peeling apple as easy, which I use the rear portion of blade for. Also concerned about it jamming open, as mentioned in the review.

Still trying to decide if I want one.

BTW how's the weight and size compare to wave?

Wave = 223g

Flik = 247g

They are about the same size, no major differences.

I used a key to get mine out-  the first time it was stuck in pretty good, almost like it was glued down.  The first time I really had to pull on the sucker to get it out, but ever since then it comes out easier.  You still need something to help reach it, but it should just pop right out from then on.
