About the spikies: here are only the red ones shown, there are quite a bit more in the family wrapped in newer styles and/or different color scales. Maybe next there will be a get together of them all marlinspikes :D

And here they are, my current alox marlinspikes together:

5 Midshipmans (or is it Midhipmen :)), 3 fat old ones out of which 2 with brass liners
6 First Mates, 3 in BO, 2 old, etc
6 Sailors
4 Seamans (Seamen)
2 Sea Pioneers
1 Sea Rancher
1 Custom

Very nice indeed. Never found any practical use for a marlin spike myself, but remember being awfully excited when I scored an old First Mate a few years back :)

They have to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing of the all the Vic tools.
