Thanks!
They are very nice, but 84mm, so they have to go. I listed them on eBay yesterday.

Here`s one from the farmer/peasant serie. Never used or carried. Don`t know the name or number of it. Its not in the 42 elsener catalog.

Great!  :tu:

The odd shaped tool doesn't look like a timber scribe. For hoof cleaning?

Yes ist for hoof cleaning. Ist sharp all over the blade.

On the picture you see the difference between the two tools from victorinox, one for hoof cleaning, the other for timber scribe.

Here is my latest. Old Champion with metal tweezers and a toothpick, which are fairly rare. Hoffritz stamped blade. Everything is super tight and the stag is gorgeous. I love my stag Swisschamp, but this is a perfect size for carrying, and it feels great in the hand.

My horns  :D
(Image removed from quote.)
Those are great!  a real nice variety.  I don't know why there was not more talk of the Indian Horn with the shield (third down on the left).  These seem quite rare and it seems Vic's retail wows helped us get these ar good prices, if not bargains.

I definitely see less of the India Horn than others. I lucked out and found a bunch a while back new in box, and purchased 6 of them.  They sit safely in my safe.

The striations are quite stunning on the India Horn.

Thanks R! I really wish they were inlaid, but Vic did a nice job of it anyhow.

Some excellent knives here  :salute:

I noticed I have one posted here, but I sold it. I have another though but I ought to get another pic really.

I still have the top one and bottom one, which is a Huntsman. I'll try to get a standalone pic of it at some point  :salute:

I'd like to see this thread keep on going, so I have bumped it with a new-to-me knife I bought yesterday.
This Wenger horn is in route to me (photo from the sales ad):
