During vacations, I used my EDC many times. Today I cut branches from my orange tree (they were scratching my car) with Hunter's 57 saw. I cut car mats with Spirit's serrated knife (like butter they went off). I used the drivers many times, for example to remove red filter from car salon lights. I used them for astronomy but my son don't needs them. I whittled, groomed, fixed, played. I love vacations.

Beautiful complete carry, I like the Orange MiniChamp(?) and larger pouch...and limes.

Craftsman's pliers to remove a gross amount of dust from CPU fan.  Tweezers wouldn't cut it.

I don't need no stinkin' cybertool.

You need the SwissBlow rechargeable air canister.  :P If they could fit that into a 91mm layer on the CyberTool...

Is that a micro ITX board? I see you got that little slot the um..DMR..no..smurf I forget... the little slot for a bluetooth or wireless mini card

Used the awl on my farmer to punch a couple holes in plastic, I absolutely love this thing, it's so freaking sharp!

This morning
I used my Huntsman can opener to pop off my SuperTiker Cellidor scales
I used my Mountaineer can opener to pop off my Huntsman Nylon scales
I swapped the scales (I wanted nylon scales on my EDC, and as couldn't find ones I needed to make that swap)

Huntsman is sad, SuperTinker is happy, and Mountaineer doesn't care  :drink:

I'm still looking for StayGlow scales btw  :twak:
Meet me also on youtube & instagram for mostly knives (and multitools) content

If you've ever been attacked by a horse-fly you'll know those creatures are a) persistent and b) bullet-proof.
Yesterday one of them was giving my dog hell during our forest walk. No amount of his nibbling, rolling, scratching or shaking could discourage the little monster. My swats and curses were equally useless.
Suddenly I remembered the Swisstool Spirit in my pocket. I managed to catch the horse-fly with the pliers and one squish later the dog tormentor was no more...
(I am generally very sympathetic to small creatures, and go to ridiculous lengths to save spiders etc. But mosquitos, ticks and horse-flies are not my friends.)
So anyway. That's what I did with my SAK yesterday! Murdered a horse-fly.

Love the survival kit! That Workchamp XL looks completely ridiculous stuck in that tree and I LOVE IT.

Today the lock on the sliding door was acting up again, I didn't "fix" it permanently, but was able to use the can opener into the side slot as shown to move something inside there around until I could get the key all the way into the lock and open it.
It reminded me of how easy they make it seem to pick locks on TV shows.

The lock has been removed and is getting repaired "for real" now that I've got the door open.

Survival situation.

Trapped at my desk on a work conference call when an enormous house fly entered the room and began menacing me.

I thought quickly, crafted a weapon with the materials available to me.

The fly just left. I think it knew it could end only one way - death!

I'm not sure I contributed a whole lot to the call mind....
I used to come here a lot.
