I accidentally locked my bathroom door from the outside and I do not have a key for it, so I used the wood saw blade on a Victorinox Camper to slide in and hook the latch and slide it sideways far enough to open the door.

Used the phillips head screwdriver on my Spirit to unscrew bolts from a license plate off a car at work.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Planting potatoes with my Sneeboer old Dutch style trowel and SAK. Both reliable, indestructible and beautifully practical  :2tu:

Amici,
Still in the "tacticool" mindset, so I have an Ernie CQC-7 riding "shotgun" along with a TIP and an Explorer sporting cool black plus scales for today's EDC ..

Cheers,

I soo love a alox awl, that little sharp thing makes the most perfect reamed out holes! I used it to put holes through this frame in order to run zip ties and attach it to our ferret cage,

Gave my future son in law an old huntsman. (Which sadly caused me to buy a new one for myself). Which he used to make pipe for tobacco smoking.

I also did some experimenting with various saks' and hex bits driving screws using a leatherman bit adapter. Combo works very well.

Mrs Magentus used her Farmer today in the garden at work to saw through a small bay tree. Her colleagues were as impressed as when they found out she carries a FAK too.  :D

I am new to joining forums but have been reading them and various reviews online for a number of years.
and the most berated implement on an SAK has been the fish scaler hook remover. But I have found that if
you need a flat sided coffee stirring, scalloped edged wire stripping bread slicing pointed dig in the dirt save
your blade seed starting screw measuring straight edge unplug the end of a pipe bbq grill scaping stick
that double as a fish scaler it works pretty well.
