Those are some mean looking SAKs

Hello my name is el corkscrew and I'm a break aholic.
Looks like I need to change my methods. This is the second tip of a blade I've broken in recent weeks, so I'm trying to put some of the load on the reamer punch.

Watched somewhere that the flat sd/bottle opener can be used to carve holes... Felix Immler's youtube vid I think. Needs some modifying a bit though... chisel grind edge...

Small blade is excellent for detailed work... tapered profile...

Yeah, I could be sued for abuse...

The small blade does work great for the outline part and cutting with the grain, just prying the little chips is where I've gone wrong.

Thanks dude!

I've been sharpening the blunted tip of the small blade on this user Camper and it's working really well.  I might try doing that next.  :salute:

Hello my name is el corkscrew and I'm a break aholic.

Sorry to hear that mate...  :(

You can always "round" off the blade tip now if you don't want to alter the profile very much  :-\

However, i wouldn't personally use any sak tools for that kind of job IMO

Thanks, dude  It's my thing, I just need to be better at it.  I make SAKs displays using only SAKs...  The small blade is much more effective now w/out so much of a taper.

A tin of luncheon meat didn't want to open properly. The strip got stuck at the seam, and the supplied key wasn't up to the job. Mega84 to the rescue.
