Shackle got a bit more than finger tight on my harness while topping a tree, skipper did great at loosening it,
Had to recreate the moment here as its the first time i had used it for its designed purpose  :tu:

Opened up a bundle of soap bars from the grocery store yesterday with the package opener on the Spirit.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Use mine as the "key" to the box I keep at my desk for tools that like to walk away and disappear for weeks at a time.... not particularly secure, but if it's out of sight, it's out of mind. Nobody thinks to open the oddball electrical-control box on my desk.

Used my SI to open the package with my new Motorcycle key!  Old one was worn out.  Had to send and have one cut by code. Just got here and works great!

Used the pruner blade on my SAK Pruner to open up some Ikea stuff, it's a great package opening blade! Then the main blade to slice down the cardboard packaging for disposal and then for lunch later.

Glasses maintenance with the PTC. Just one more reason to pick the PTC over the slightly less useful MC :pok:

Among a bunch of other uses today. Cutting up rags from old t-shirts, opening a new packet of toothbrushes (was aircon cleaning day today and two toothbrushes were sacrificed), lunch earlier, etc.

Yesterday I replaced the pump motor on my swimming pool filter. I ended up pulling new Romex cable through the conduit snake (it was easier than trying to use the old, existing wires). Used the Vic Craftsman small blade to remove cable insulation off the new wires.
Also used the small blade to open a package of brass garden hose nozzles.

No pics, but giving my new Pioneer a real workout this week and it's proving to be a great investment. Everything from tightening a screw that clamps my big dial indicator at work, to slicing my tomato at lunch and spearing the slices with the awl, to opening cans of food, to using the inline awl multiple times in one day at home as I needed pilot holes to locate my hand drill tip for various projects. That slim, fairly minimal SAK is so stinkin' useful !!!
