I think all my pocket knife did today, was open a pack of foil food tray thingies for making a batch of individual fish pies
Are these fish pies anything like our American fish sticks?

No idea  :D

Here's how I did it ....

White fish covered in green pesto sauce and baked in the oven. While that's cooking, chop up some broccoli and grate the stalk. Flake the fish, mix with the broccoli stalk and florets, and dish an even amount into each foil dish. Pour over a white sauce made with a simple butter and flour roux, with added milk and grated mature cheddar. Top up the dish to full with a rosti (grated potato) topped off with some more grated mature cheddar. Pop the foil lid on, label and whack them in the freezer. When it's time to cook them, bung them in a medium oven with the lid still on, and take the lid off before they're finished so they brown nicely on top.

Thanks guys  I make a lot of my own "ready meals" like this, as it saves a lot of money in the long run. In the freezer right now I have leek and potato soup, chicken and yellow lentil curry, sausage and bean casserole, chilli, and I think there's a few other older concoctions lurking in there too. I try to always make sure there's some form of chilli in there, and then just vary the rest depending on what I fancy, and what ingredients are cheap at the supermarket when I go  :D

I used the SwissChamp metal file to tidy up the ends of my nails after cutting them. Pretty hard metal, just a few passes over amd they were smooth and even. Trouble is now I'm having a hard time opening the tools because my nails are gone

I'm surprised you have any fingers left with that file  :ahhh It's an excellent file, but a little on the aggressive side  :D
I'd suggest keeping your classic on your keys for that job  ;)
DUDETTE, the 91mm file is NOT for fingernails!!   Please follow Al's advice in the future and use the classic's diamond file

But than I wouldn't get to be SAKMC  good to know the file on the Classic does have diamond coating though.  :)

I'm currently in the middle of a dark parking lot and needed to input a number into my phone. Didn't have a regular pen and paper so I whipped out my SwissChamp's pen and wrote on my palm. Hurray for plus scales!

This is a day late, but I use my only Spartan to pop scales off of SAKs getting a replacement set.  Yesterday, the Spartan went into action to strip a Woodsman waiting for a spa treatment and some light rehab.

Sunday, I used my SAK to start sawing a hole in a wall in my garage while looking for possible mold.

Huh...? Didn't follow...

If you needed to input a number into your phone, how come you needed to write it down on paper? Why not write it down directly on the phone...?

I needed to send credit to my wife's number thru an SMS-based menu on my phone. Since I haven't memorized her number and couldn't copy and paste it in the menu, I had to exit the menu, check her number and write them down on my palm  :)

Used the utility blade on my Deluxe Tinker Plus to cut some small leather reinforcements for eyelets on a ditty bag I am making, using up the cutoffs from a pair of Fjallraven pants.
Then went at sewing on the bottom and used the scissors for usual thread cutting as well as close, fine cuts.
Took me far too long, but was worth it in the end.

Currently on a family vacation and one of our agenda was to visit our nephew. He took us on a tour of his campus grounds and dorm.

Now the door handle to his dorm bathroom came off... Was reported to Maintenance and wasn’t acted upon... Unacceptable... Took out my Vagabond and did a DIY fixit... bathroom door handle fixed in less than 10 minutes...

Sorry, forgot to take pics...

Had a pretty eventful toilet visit today.

First I close the door and pull off the handle, a loud clock on the other side confirms that I am trapped.
Luckily it's not October yet and I still have my Handyman on me (instead of the Executive). I use the bottleopener to open the door.

The next toilet I go to has no hook. And I need to hang my coat. I can't just drop it on the floor.
So I used the micro screwdriver as a clotheshook.

Sadly, I dropped the screwdriver when I was done and now I have it soaking in alcohol for a good 30 minutes.
