I used the thin tip of the chisel to pop the backs off my new mechanical pocket watch. Wonder if I can get the timelord badge now.

(Image removed from quote.)

Lovely watch! I don't know many people who carry pocket-watches. I really like them.
Because I can't wear wrissmurfches at work I carry a pocket-watch.

Thanks, i've always had a thing for pocket watches since I was little. Especially the mechanical ones, just a sort of romaticism about them

Bought a little baby doll that drinks water and pees in a musical toilet. My daughter decided the toilet needed water in it so she put it in the dogs' water bowl.
SC to the rescue while daddy takes it apart to dry it.

Surely there's a Dad Badge around here somewhere. LOL!

Well, the job involved a variety of tiny screws and I ended up also using the Wenger 580 Evo Grip nail clipper.

Some screws were small that only the mini screwdriver could get them

Late entry for yesterday when I shortened a new belt (with clamp buckle) using the best scissors on the MT market. Could have used the main or secondary blade too, with somewhat less control over the cut though...

After a couple days of testing the mechanical watch has a loss of about 2 minutes 15 seconds per 24 hours. Not too bad but it could be better so I popped the toothpick out of the SwissChamp :climber: and used it to get to adjusting the regulator arm. Doing much better now, I'll have to wait until next evening to see just how much but it sounds pretty close now.

And video of the movement ticking along now

Good choice of SAK, I was just using the pliers on mine to pull out the accumulated desert thorns on the bottom of my boots so I don't track them inside. Be careful with the file though  :pok:

Yeah, it's a problem. I think I need a 12-step program. I'll drink 2 or 3 double shots out of it back to back. It's enough caffeine to kill a horse.

I use heavy whipping cream. None of that half & half sissy stuff. Gimme that full fat "liquid butter"!
I run it through a Secura automatic milk frother.

OMG! The results are amazing! I didn't know coffee could taste so good.
