Something the Alox models do miss, and the reason why I switch to my Compact sometimes.

Nice champ  :tu:

There's a Wera mini ratched in the pic as well.
I love it.

A colleague does horse riding and jumping.
This is part of an infrared light barrier for time counting etc.
It seems the li-ion battery lost a few cells so the voltage is too low now for normal operation.
It's a bit tricky to find a replacement that has the exact same measurements so it would fit in.

Was making a unique bird feeder, and that alox awl is great for what I needed, today the little guy gave me a hand and we made the hook out of a coat hanger, only problem was I didn’t want to waste that bottom part, so what to use it for? Then it hit me, a back scratcher? We cut the one end off, then used a candle and heated the other up, bent it a little over, grabbed the other end, heated it up enough to melt the very end and stuck it to the other, got it just right then ran it under some water. But then i got another idea, asked the little guy to go get a pencil sharpener and put a nasty little edge on those scratching ends, he he, then threw a paracord loop on the other end. Was a cute little project to do with the little guy, he loved it, then when after mom with it, lol

But that alox awl is sooo handy!

Opened the fridge at work and it seems the tards had tipped over the ice cube tray, so my tv dinner was frozen into the compartment under half inch of ice... arrghhh, but i simply opened up my 98 pattern swisstool and used the chisel to break and scrape. Bad part was cardboard box came apart in microwave...i invented a new word.

Already posted this in the 30-day 111 mm challenge, but today I used the smaller Philips driver on my Hercules to investigate why my guitar's knobs act up. Well, I couldn't find anything obvious, but that's not the SAK's fault at all, it did its job perfectly.

I'm not 100 % percent sure what you mean, but the knobs move perfectly smoothly, so they're not scratchy in that sense. The problem is volume/mute knob, it randomly cuts out while turning and there's no rhyme or reason to it, sometimes it's not happening at all, other times right when I start turning it, then comes back, still other times near the end of its way. Anyway I have a friend who's an accomplished guitarist and an electrical engineer by profession, I'll have him look at it and fix it in a couple of days.

Get some Deoxit, that should fix them right up. You just spray a squirt or two in the little slot on the back side, then twist the knob shaft up and down several times.

Once again the 65mm orange peal tool saves the day. Wenger made sure that they made the most versatile and practical orange peal tool on the market. :pok:

Exactly, I meant exactly that by scratchy - cutoffs or noises while you’re plugged in and rotating it. Spraying it should help
