I made pesto. And you con't need a pair of fancy herb scissors to cut the basil.
A Vic will do.

Handyman scissors and Basil

And I forgot to post this one from a couple of days earlier.
I made additional holes in the tuna-can to drain the oil quickly.

I'm a big pesto fan.  Do you always use pine nuts?  ever stretch it out with spinach??   Sometimes I just leave out the cheese and put some coarse sea salt in there.

I was doing some remodeling with my black Climber:

- Cut carpet that was torn up
- Used the flathead screw driver on the can opener to remove plug and light switch covers
- Used the awl to create 8 holes in the wall to install decorative shelving

I thought I was going to break something when using the awl. I had to pound the back of the knife to get the awl through the wall (and I mean hard).  It is an older house and I think the walls are plaster.

Worked like a charm.  These knives are amazing!!!

Haha, you would say so. But no. I EDC a Handyman and it has seen a lot of use.
About when I joined this forum I started to carry an additional blade (one handed folder) for ease of use. But the Handyman is my everyday toolbox. It has been used to fix cars, mopeds, bikes, cut free teachers, fix vacuum cleaners in a pinch or fix photopters (eye test apparatus) and in many many more situations.
The best SAK is one that is always there.

I'm a big pesto fan.  Do you always use pine nuts?  ever stretch it out with spinach??   Sometimes I just leave out the cheese and put some coarse sea salt in there.

Yes, I always use pin nuts. However, I've discovered pesto only recently. A receipe called for pesto and the one in store didn't contain any Basil (just spinach). And since I thought that pesto was made out of basil I searched for a traditional receipe. After some teaking mine now is: basil, pine nuts, parmesan cheese and some oil. I left out the salt.
It might be a good idea to try to strech it out with spinach as Basil is quite expensive over here.

Well, not technically today. I was on the road and didn't have time to upload.

The antanna of my car was stuck. It took two Vic pliers (Handyman and CT34) simultaniously to get it off. Needless to say, the antenna suffered some damage and was ready for the trash.
I have a trick to apply a lot of force on the pliers. Put the handle in the opposit direction of the turn and pull on the handle. Especially with softer materials the teeth of the pliers will eat in the material and give a lot of grip.
Luckily I have not yet destroyed a plair of pliers, they take a lot of abuse.

I only used the Handyman to mount the new antenna.

About when I joined this forum I started to carry an additional blade (one handed folder) for ease of use.

I also did that, more or less at the time that I started carrying a OHO folder I took my Swisschamp (from my Grandpa) and put it in the safe for preservation, and then I bought a Handyman (previously owned, $25) and used it instead for two years non-stop, on a weekly basis.

Smaller SAKs complimented it but it was the official EDC one.  ::)
This picture was taken when I purchased the Handyman and Rajah III the same day,

it's proven a very useful and versatile SAK these years, and last week it went to its new owner, a member here  :salute:

Decided to use my MiniChamp as a pen for the entire day yesterday.
I discovered it's a great conversation starter with patients.
One kid wanted one also but his parents said no. When he left after the examination and I said goodbye to his parents I told them about the toy Victorinox.
They liked the idea and went to the city to look for one :D

I used the small flathead screwdriver on my Swisstool to gently pry open the tape measure case to oil the spring as its sticking when retracting.

The old trusty SwissChamp helped at building a Meccano roadster.

These Meccano sets are not what they used to be anymore  ::)

Not long ago I've got a 125 Plier wrench and love it. It's size is great for what I need most.
I might add a 150mm later on.
