A bit different.....it’s open range up here and I have been having a problem with a big Angus bull (think Mack truck 😛).  He  wanted the old moldy hay around the horse corrals and under the barbed wire fence and wouldn’t take “NO” for an answer.  My problem is that I didn’t want to find him inside the fence in the morning and have to figure out how to get him out.

Ran him off multiple times and he always came back when I left.  Went out to feed the horses about 10:30 PM and there he was, pushing against the fence and he had stretched the bottom wire.  So now I’m desparate.  I was carrying the Wenger Survivor  with the rescue whistle so I took it out and tried a long loud blast with it.  He took off like I had poked him with a pitchfork and hasn’t been back since.  😛

I doubt that Wenger had that in mind when they designed the Survivor, but it sure “rescued” me.

Now that's a new one
Thanks for sharing it with us Boonies !

😜. No, he wasn’t raging, just persistent.  And I was standing right next to the horse corral so that I could hop over should things really go awry.

MTMatt......thanks.  The whistle scared the horses also but not as much as the bull.  😊

Used my Spirit to build a cat barrier on the balcony. Also cleaned some hair which blocked the drain in the bathroom.

How’s this,,
I love them but the bag they come in doesn’t let you easily pull them out so I put them in a ziplock bag, just have to cut them in half, to top that off they will sealed so they won’t harden.. but I grabbed the pioneerX and did the job..

I’ve been away from the forum for a few months, but I’ve been EDC my SwissChamp and it’s been doing a lot of work with me. Today, my wife used my Swiss Champ to open a can of paint. I had provided her with a paint can key to open it but she didn’t see it there so she popped out the flat screwdriver and opened the paint can. Makes me cringe because I expected to find paint in my SAK, but there wasn’t any. She did a clean job.

Haha, the horrors of lending out a SAK.
I know I rarely hand out my SAK to anyone these days. After someone wanted to use my EDC SAK as a prybar.

My roommate has been trying to address our lack of shade in the backyard. And built a frame today just hung up a sheet temporarily to provide some shade. Then Along Came the dust storm... The beams were shaking and I was concerned that the strong winds could blow it apart and end up breaking our glass  patio door.  That's where the SI came in. I cut the sheet down in about 15 seconds... now dealing with no power. I just checked the website and we're one of only 1700 people in this 5 million person Valley with no power

Nice to see the SI pressed into action.  :tu:  Hopefully the roomie doesn't mind......

Why did you lose power and nobody else?

Did you leave your hairdryer plugged in while you were microwaving some celebratory popcorn?

More than 100,000 customers were without power because of storm-related outages, according to the two companies that provide electricity to most of the Valley.

Cutting smoked sausages. Opening ketchup packets. Getting garlic toast out of the toaster.  Cutting nubs off a plastic squeegee.

Lots of little tasks...

I thought for a few about joining that CYC2, but I don’t have an Executive. I scoured eBay but those suckers are kinda pricey for as little as they are!

Honestly, I can’t see it replacing my SI or PX as my edc, so I decided not to spend the greenbacks. If someone had one they wanted to loan me for the challenge, I would have considered it. LOL
