Cutting smoked sausages. Opening ketchup packets. Getting garlic toast out of the toaster.  Cutting nubs off a plastic squeegee.

Lots of little tasks...

Another happy ending to a great day... The package from Syem was already waiting for me... Used Jalox to free its contents... Also used the Swisscard’s mag glass to take macro shots...

My friend had just moved into her new apartment and we were hanging out there having some dinner. The seat of one of the old chairs that came with the place fell out as I was sitting in it and threw me on the ground. Upon closer inspection, I discovered three out of the four screws that were supposed to hold the seat in place were turned upside down sitting in the screw holes of the chair the frame uselessly (the fourth screw was just missing). Of course, my friend had no tools yet in her new apartment, but I had my trusty Super Tinker in my pocket! I had to do it in quarter turns because the backside Phillips was impeded by the legs of the chair being so close to the screw holes, but in the end it got the job done and I was able to repair the chair!

Nicely done  :tu:
Perhaps though, it would have been easier to use the can opener instead for that one...
I hardly use the back Phillips on my Tinkers at all, only for very light torque plastic assembly's. Had one of my super tinkers damaged once taking the back plate of a pc tower, and it wasn't even that tight...  :-\

Used the Handyman's corkscrew to untie a knot in the branch training architecture of a tree. Well, I did it twice - until I realized I didn't need to redo the work and cut the remaining ties with the blade.

I did use the can opener tip to start the screw! But there was upholstery covering the hole the screw had previously been in so it was impossible to line it up directly into the old hole. As such I was forced to essentially drill a new hole into the relatively soft wood. The extra torque that the backside Phillips provided was essential for the task!

Needed to open a not working HiFi equipment that was yelling 'no disk' on its little LCD screen.
Perfect task for my CT34!  Torx T8 and micro fiber cloth helped disassembling and cleaning the Laser lens that was foggy of dust and greasy thingy coming from the gears (20+ years of use)

SAK was my go-to knife for the trip in Berlin, everyday it opened bags, food containers, plastic envelopes and shells, paper, cardboard, entry tickets, bottles of beer (lots of them!!!  :drink:)
and here it is just before going to the airport to fly back to Barcelona, where I just arrived

so today all I did with it was put it back in the pocket of the new clothes, and cut the tag from the luggage that they printed and wrapped at the airport  :salute:
My toys:
