Needed to cut some brass shimstock to tighten up the rear sight on this old Martini.

Thats not a BSA model is it???
How well did the sissors cut the brass?
Thanks!  :tu:
It’s a 577-450 Martini Henry converted to .22 by WW Greener. The scissors cut the brass very easily but it was only .0025” shim stock.

Thanks for the information on everything. The BSA is one of my favorite rifles in 22LR. I hope the shim worked out for you.  :like: :tu:

Sorry to read that Fred...

For my part I can report a selfless act of seasonal heroics performed by my SwissChamp. Its main blade was instrumental in releasing a reasonably freshly cut Christmas tree from captivity at the hand of several square feet of nylon netting. No pictures survive of this encounter, alas. Hovever, here is a formal picture of the liberated tree after undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Never heard of Mouseman furniture before. Now I want one!
To bad it's a bit (read way) out of my price range.

But a very, very nice lamp!
