Used the cap lifter on my Outrider to notch into a lot on the fridge water filter and pull it out. Also used the saw and blade for some pruning.

Some small tasks yesterday:

- Cutting and filing finger nails
- Food prep
- Open a beer bottle
- Removing a splinter (again...  ::))
- Cut off a loose thread

Those are great knives. I bought my grandmother a serrated one at a local store, and it's been used a lot, and is now beat to heck. I need to get about 5-6 more of them.

It thinks nothing of a ring of bolonga. I used it again for that reason. I would be happy with those as my only kitchen knives.  :tu:
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

You’re growing the wrong kind of weeds in your garden SOS.  :pok:
They’re actually growing in the church yard but getting tangled in my gate.  I don’t think a suggestion to grow the other types of weed would go over well >:D

Today’s use was cutting paracord for a dog harness

Good usage SOS and lots of work to weave a harness.  :like:

Got some more paracord today for new projects. Trying some brighter colours.

I sent back a flashlight that I didn't like and I taped the envelope with a wide tape.
The transparent adhesive tape got jammed and I couldn't lift the edge of the tape, I had to use the Walker.
A knife with a larger blade like the Mora or Hultafors would not have been able to lift such a thin ribbon.

I don't know if it counts as a SAK, but I've been using my Swisstool a lot recently, e.g. sawing the door frames a bit and filing them after placing new floor tiles on top of the old ones, using the awl to make pilot holes for screws in the door after shortening it quite a bit, and using the pliers to loosen some nuts here and there (I know some of you will grind your teeth at this...)

On a side note, the guy that layed the tiles used a pair of pincers and a bent nail to remove the cross-shaped separators, and after showing him the hook on my SAK he told me that he might consider buying one. That goes to show that the hook is not that useless after all, depending on what you do, haha.

Was bored, whittled myself a pipe tamper out of some left over building timber. Used a Vic Camper to saw the wood and do the rough work and a Vic Floral for all the rest. The Floral is a great hobby knife! I then sanded it down and applied two coats of Linseed Oil. Looking forward to using it, fed up of falling back on using a key to tamp when I'm having a pipe at home cause I left my pipe pouch with tamper in the car.

We just got back from 5 days in the mountains and before we even got in the car, the hook on my Explorer was called in to action. The cheap rubberized pull tabs for the zippers on the roof top cargo bag broke when I was trying to zip them up. As it was raining, I couldn’t get a good grip on the zippers to close it up. I used the hook on a small opening on both zippers and got them closed in no time. The mini screwdriver on the Explorer was used to unscrew the key fob for my wife’s car so I could replace the battery on it. The cut and picker blade on the MiniChamp opened the battery package and the cuticle pusher helped extract the old battery. I used the saw on the SwissChamp to cut a tree limb down to size to make a walking stick for my son before we took a walk from the cabin down to the creek to explore. And the bottle opener helped open a few beers at the end of the day...and maybe at lunch.
