Used the scissors and reamer to help with splicing paracord in order to start a new dog leash for my Mom’s dog.

Staying home today to look after the kids... The small one is kinda under the weather...

The digital thermometer will be the most used tool today and noticed that the settings are kinda weird... it is supposed to set off a sound when readings are high... turns out its in mute mode... plus the readings are in Farenheit... We use Celcius in this part of the world...

Couldn’t find the instruction manual... Rather than waste time searching, just took out the custom minichamp to open the battery lid and gently pry the butten cell to reset... Now its back to default...

Slipped the catches on some zipties holding a baby bouncers parts together.  Used the phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment.

I used the SwissTank this morning, to change the battery on my newly acquired Victorinox pockesmurfch. The sharpened section of the can opener was thin enough to pry off the watch's case back. Then with the aid of the magnifier and the corkscrew screwdriver, I was able to loosen the teeny tiny flathead screw on the battery cover, and change out the battery.

Yep! The can opener isn't just a cryptoPhillips! I was going to buy a Vic Watchmaker until I found that the "tooth" of the opener worked nearly the same. Takes off the back of a watch, the scales of a SAK, the frame of a Phantom pool cleaner bag [allowing you to fix a "destroyed" mesh bag that's come loose from its "unfixable" frame]...

More pool maintenance...

I used my Pioneer to remove/change a 100W spa light. Turned out it was wasted effort because the fixture was broken, rackum frackum, but still. Took the holding screw out of the wall and loosened the bolt on the compression ring with that sweet, sweet can-opener.

And Omron's a Japanese brand. You'd think stuff sold in your neck of the woods would be in Celsius. Kinda like the time I screwed up the Jeep as a kid. The odometer was in kilometers and the thermometer in Celsius. MPG was in L/10Km; when it was supposed to be Miles/Fahrenheit/MPG.

Carried the Compact today.  Let's see...combo tool to pry some Legos apart, scissors to open a plastic bag for a jigsaw puzzle, blade to cut of a quesadilla and sharpen a pencil, scissors again to trim some loose threads.
