It is not by Zippo.  It is a Vector Thunderbird butane insert that can be purchased separately and fits any standard Zippo.  I have both the single torch and soft flame ones.  I really like them because you don’t have the evaporation issues like the regular Zippo and the torch is better for paracord, but I can use them in my Zippos that I really like.

Huh, that’s cool idea. Thanks for the info!

I have a Wind-Gard  (1980s; made in Korea) Zippo knockoff; which is etched with advertising for grandfather's then employer (and looks pretty cool with a big mining shovel on it). I'm wondering if I could use that insert in it? I tested it with my standard "Street Chrome" Zippo, and it will fit a Zippo insert; even though both the factory insert, and the Zippo insert in the lighter fit tight (probably got damaged somehow at one point in its lifetime).

Agree, I love the idea when I learned about it.  I have several Zippos that I love and can just swap the inserts between whichever I want to use.

If the regular Zippo insert fits tightly then I would expect this would fit the same.way.

Used the Huntsman today. First to cut the wrapping of some bones for the dogs. Then I used the saw to cut off some dead branches off a bush.

Bought a used trunk for my ATV and used the large screw driver to clean the old weather strip off, large blade to cut “fingers” off my rifle/chainsaw mounts. The wave and its bit kit came in handy for the Roberts drive screws on the old latches of the box! Also a brew and yucky smokes. Oh! And the small blade to cut stickers off little lunabelle.

Needs a latch and some paint. Probably will look at some foam inserts...first effort so will see.

Looks like I can get three rows of twelve x 91mm SAKs in the box. Will need to fabricate some dividers which should be easy enough. 40mm internal height (closed), so with 3mm foam sheet leaves enough for SwissChamps and larger CyberTools, but not the oversized XLT and XAVT models which may need to go on their sides in a double-wide slot.

Well, I guess one would want to show of those models more anyway. At least to casual observers, I've got a few models neat for a collector, but a rare version of scissors isn't really something with wow-factor to just anyone.

True  :iagree:
Only have an XLT in the supersized category, and my personal collection favourite is probably my white Astronaut which is (only) 5 layers. This box is small enough to slip under the bed, so it will be close at hand for easy access.

The El Guapo won the taste test, but the Vengeful Spirit wasn’t bad.  At least the easier to get one (for me) won.  Usually when we do this the better tasting one is the harder to get one.
