Got my first SAK (Tinker) on this past Wednesday and have found it to be a superb apple cutter these past couple of days during lunch.   :)  This morning, while waiting for my car to warm up, I used the flat screwdriver to pry off a radio button that was sticking due to mysterious gunk that had somehow gotten behind it.  Cleaned it up and works like new!

Here's the scary thing...it's been only 3 days since buying the first SAK, and I already own three!   >:D The Tinker, a Classic (given to my wife to replace the one confiscated by TSA a couple of years ago), and now a Super Tinker as well which will reside in my glovebox.  Let the addiction begin...

I had previously been carrying a LM Juice S2 as my EDC, but I think I'm going to move to my LM Micra on my keychain, and the Tinker in my pocket.  This will cover pretty much all my needs, as I rarely need pliers, and when I do I have a LM Wave in my car and a LM Pulse at my desk in the office.  Good to go!

That's the spirit!
 :D

Welcome! Nice choices!

I used my Minichamp to open the electronics unit in a soy milk maker. It didn't work. Turned out to be a disconnected cable.

I used the pliers in a LM Style PS to pull the loose cable without having to disassemble the whole thing and put it back into in the right place. The pliers were a good tool because the tip of the cable needed to be a little squeezed in order to stay right there. And the Phillips screwdriver in any SAK is a real lifesaver. I have a small Phillips in the Minichamp and a bigger one in the Explorer, and both are great, covering a lot of different screws in a variety of contexts.

Now it works, and we'll have a nice breakfast tomorrow :-)

Used my Pioneer can opener and cap lifter today at family gathering.
Water, water, every where,
 And all the boards did shrink;
 Water, water, every where,
 Nor any drop to drink.

Took all of 4 days of being a SAK owner, but I finally managed to accidentally close the large blade on my finger.  Got hit by the last 1/4" of the blade tip, my left index finger preventing it from closing as I went into a mini-panic.  Opened the blade, extracted finger, only to find I didn't even draw blood.  I thought the Tinker blade was supposed to be sharp?!   :P

Nice work!  :tu:

From last weekend... out with the old Volvo it was time for lunch! My trusty farmer did the job as expected, first opened the canned meat and then cut it nicely

That's one clean cut, mine are never so clean.  I guess I better practice more.

I had to use the pen on my Yeochamp to cross items off the grocery list I was sent with to the store tonight.  It's not often I have to use the pen, but it's mighty handy when I'm in the situation to need it :tu:

Those little pens come in handy, don't they? I used my new Climber to open cigar boxes for restocking shelves after y'day's big black friday and today's small business Saturday sales. Needless to say that we had no one fighting over deals in the shop like most Wal-Marts had over the $98 32" TVs

Yup :tu:  Man, after seeing that price, it makes me sick to think of what I paid for my 32" tv, even though it was a few years ago now.

Yeah, my monitor on my desk is a 32" TV that we bought a couple years ago and we paid 3 or 4 times that

I used the scissors this morning to open my wife's weekly transdermal patch for hypertension. I then used the small blade to cut open a bag of pinto beans to go into  the crockpot with a chuck roast. Great dinner for tonight.

I used the flat head driver on my Tinker to install two outlet covers and remove hardware from a few items (opened a few beers last night, too.)  I then used the small blade to break down a half dozen card board boxes.  Worked like a charm.

The mini-pliers on my Vic Handyman came in very handy yesterday (lousy pun was inevitable  ) :

I had to set the calendar on my Swatch but its crown has grown very stiff for some reason that eludes me. It would have been a royal pain in the finger tips but the pliers made a quick job out of it, only adding a bit of character, read light scratches, on the plastic case.  8)
