a tough descision
on: March 15, 2008, 06:06:30 AM
I hold in my hand a fabled juice pro. A buddy of mine said he'd trade me his juice dor my wave. But my wave has sentimental value to me. It was my first one! It got me hooked into the world of multitools. But on the other hand, a juice pro!  This is a tough descision. Trade my pride and joy, or find a juice pro somewhere else?

Ps: my buddy is super stoked about getting a wave. I don't wanna change my mind and let him down. If any one here has a new style wave they wanna just let me have... :gimme:

Keep the wAvE! That's my suggestion. Then buy a cOrE. I think you would regret parting ways with your wAvE. I know i would.

Well I have my charge too. And it gives me an excuse to get a black wave

Give it to your wife or girlfriend (or whomever) to carry it around in their purse or whatever for a couple days. Knowing someone else has it may cement your thoughts a bit.

Alternately, use this little trick I learned. Get a good coin and flip it 2 out of 3. You're not actually flipping for what the coin says, it's what your brain does after you call it that matters. If you say "heads the wave gets traded" pay attention to what you think before you see the result of the first flip, then the tiebreaker. This is a neat little psychological trick.

The Wave is a tough tool to beat.  I'd stay with the wave as well.

Well its not like I'm substituting it for a juice! My wave sat around being unused. So I traded my wave and my buddy at work was very appreciative. And like I said this gives me an excuse to get a black oxide wave

Why was the wAvE unused? Didn't have the tools you needed in it? Try a cOrE maybe?

Since you already have a Charge TTi which is much better than the reg. Wave you should trade it! The Charge has basically all the same tools but it adds a crimper, gut hook, and a lot of extras like titanium handles and S30v knife steel..

The Wave is much easier to replace too...

If you already told your friend you were trading, then trade.  A man's word is important.  Besides, you can get a Wave anywhere, but a Pro?  Hmmm.
Once you trade for the pro, get a B.O. Wave, and THEN get a Core.
(That was for Pacu)
