Favorite ebay seller gone :(

I just noticed that one of my favorite sellers is gone from ebay

Centralvalleywholesale is closed. I guess now I will have to find a new one.

I bought several Vic (and Wenger) items from Centralvalley. Really sad to see they're gone.

It says in his ebay storefront that he is away until Dec 26th. The store is still there but there are no items for sale.

I think he is just on holiday break.

So sounds like just a vacation. I hope they're not gone, great place to find hard to find Vics.

Even when sellers are away I still see items for sale and can buy it. I don't see anything for sale

I recall there is an option in ebay that you can leave stuff up while you are away, or temporarily taking everything down, so it might just be the latter that he chose to to.

That must be the case, I remember sometimes seeing all items disappearing when a seller was away, some other times the items were there and there was just an info box about the seller's day of return.

So seller will probably be back in a few days, don't worry.

Central valley was a good fellow to deal with and I did buy quite a bit from him in the early years. Then I found Tim and I buy my alox from him now. Tim doenst carry the cellidor donors I buy though, like the compacts etc, so I get those from Gary Della, and he's a fantastic guy to deal with too. He's cut me some nice deals on larger orders of donor SAKS.

Ya thats what started me buying from him, gentle shipping costs to Canada. If I order a bunch hes often comped the shipping.

I think I've picked up 20 compacts or so from him so far. They are pretty decent choice for new scissors, and people keep wanting combo tools, and then Im left with plus scales and the extra bits that I can sell off too, so they get all 'used' up.

Ya he mentioned he hits the guns shows on weekends. Rex asked if I wanted him to pick me up some donors at a gun show and low and behold it was from Gary. Gary then wrote me and asked if I knew Rex. Its funny everyone who deals with SAKs and MTs ends up knowing each other.
