My Robot. Haven't played with it for a long time. It is a SAK's playground!

Don't know if these explosive bad boys are considered toys, but it's one of those pictures I made for the blog and just love...

Kompolois (meant not for pray, in contrast with rosarios and such) are literally manly toys, the only permitted to grown up men according to tradition. Here are my 6 users.
The beads from the amber one (over the XLT) belonged to my grandpa. They are around 100 years old and some of them were lost. The obsidian from Melos island (bought from Santorini, over the Toolchest Plus) is my current EDC for 2 years. My former EDC is the coral root, over the Mountaineer. And before that, in my 20s, the carneole and silver, over the Cadet from the same era. The silver (Harvester) and hematite (Swisschamp) are nice too.

I have Steel Storm on my to-buy list for quite some time now. The thing that keep me from ordering it is that it seems fragile, especially where the co2 "magazine" clips (in plastic handle) and where the trigger connects to the rest of the gun (all plastic). Have in mind that I never actually touched the gun, my view on it is based on online videos only.

So, you could help me make a decision, is it as fragile as I think it is or the "problem" exists only in my head and only that keeps me from enjoying a very fun bb-gun?

I would not worry about the plastic parts. I haven't had any issues with that. I did once have a BB jammed into the spring feeder. I had to dissemble the gun to repair it. While looking at instructions on how to do that online, I also came across easy to do instructions to make it fully auto. I didn't do that as it is a bit illegal in my neck of the woods...but doing such is as simple as removing a few pieces inside.  :o

These were a birthday present for my wife some 5 years ago. My wife looks still very young and she likes treating her as a young person. She also works with adolescents (she is a schoolmaster). So she enjoyed the presents very much. Potatoheads weren't available here when we were kids.

I'm thinking about a Furby now. Be prepared for some shots if I get it. :)

Don't do it!Furbys are hideous!

The only pleasure I used to get from them at my old shop was driving them crazy

We've got a public holiday tomorrow,I think I'll go fishing.

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time
