Over at Gear Expert, he mentions the Gerber Bullrush. Aimed at first responders. Looks like outside opening implements, butterfly style multitool.

Not sure how to post pictures so I apologize if this doesn't go up properly.

I agree. Pretty darn close. Those scales look really nice. I wonder if this little guy has a glass breaker?

I'm guessing that's a seatbelt cutter on the lower handle?   The handles do look nice though.

Totally. The offset handles. I wonder if its just as wobbly.

The g10 looks great and the strap cutter is from the other black out crucial.

I would be more interested if it is bigger than the crucial. or at least more robust.

I wouldn't necessarily right off a Crucial variant. I quite like the FAST and it is in very much a different categories in the original Crucial, which I agree was far from Gerber's best effort.

Knife and strap cutter are definitely Crucial-like. That plier head looks new though.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I agrre with you Def.
I recently picked up all 4 variants of the crucial and the F.A.S.T and Rescue tool are in my opinion much better thought out than the standard crucial.
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I would much rather get the crucial than the bullrush, the crucial costs $50 and the bullrush cost $19 more for less tools.

I just got the Bullrush.  The tool is a good value IMHO but the pouch is a waste of time, money and nylon.  Gerber states that the tool was developed with input from law enforcement and military yet the pouch is flimsy and won't fit a 2.25" duty belt.  It's a decent tool but I have no idea how I'm going to carry it...

Four stars for the tool so far.
Zero stars for the pouch- It's going in the trash.
