I'm super curious to find out the price point of the lockback.  On one hand I hope its high end for Vic stuff, but on the other hand I hope not too 'fancy' to remain affordable... for multiples :D

I'm not sure how the lockback will be received.

No pocketclip options at all. No lanyard hole.

They will come with the green molle compatible 4.0822.4 sheath if I see that correctly.

Interesting diversion for them

The bike tool does look a little like something Topeak make.
Actually, it looks almost identical to several of the tools in the 2013 P.B. Swiss Tools catalog.  :pok:

I saw a SB video where he went around the Victorinox booth at this year's SHOT show; he played with that lockblade for a little bit. I remember being quite underwhelmed with it; the handle looked rather cheap, the blade didn't really impress me either. I like the Trekker type OH blade much better.

The blade shape was the main thing that got me interested in the new folder. I think it looks a lot better than their ordinary 111 mm blades.

Thanks for the link, the knife has a nice fast opening and I  like the look of the handels.
Would be cool if they included a Philips screwdriver tough.

That's a good price. I got a quote for EUR 75 here in Europe, which is twice that :)

Tim you may be getting a shed load of the Outdoorsman but I definitely want you to slap my name on one. It's savage. . I am stoked about them making a knife of this size. The blade design is unique for Victorinox and if it meets the same outstanding quality of the rest of their knifes it will give many popular manufacturers a run for their money.  :tu: The only regret is no pocket clip or lanyard hole. However, if they’re as popular as I think they’re going to be I can see Victorinox or modders making these options available soon. -hint syph.

Ahh, that lockback folder. What I get for reading from the end to the next page and missed it. My bad.

Handle looks too plastic for my taste. Have a Leatherman K503x that's far better - though I'd like to remove that large bit driver or make it lock better under load.

Nice packaging! The SAK in the background has its shield in the wrong location ;)
And the cheese looks delicious.

Reinier, take a closer look at the knife on the background. It's the Horn Cheese Knife and the Swiss Cross is where it should be--in the middle of the scale.

You may have missed his  ;), but you should look closer as it's not the Horn version, it's red.

... but what maybe neither of you can see from my photo is that white emblem in the center is the shield, not a plain cross.... maybe Reinier has very sharp eyes...  :D
