Cheap, but even more cheerful!
on: January 19, 2013, 10:00:34 PM
Here is one of my favorite cheap and cheerful multitools:

While it has very little actual function, it is actually a really neat design- the spoiler is a wrench head, the side panels and fenders are wrenches, the front bumper is a teeny ruler, the canopy is a plier handle and on either side of the cockpit are Phillips screwdrivers.

The most useful feature of it is actually underneath- there's an actual 1/4" socket on the underside!

It's available in gold and silver, although I don't have a silver one.

And, if you have a giant display case for all of your tools, I bet this one would get a lot more attention from the average person than a limited edition Damascus Wave costing many hundreds of times more than this particular one!

Good call!

I got 4 last year, after talking to someone here. :D .. and two were given as presents but I still have 2, one silver one gold.

As toys they are very robust!  Extensively tested by chlidren and stiil look good.

Apparently they actually came in 3 colours, Gold and two shades of Chrome:

Awesome!  I love that chrome/blue one!

I'll have to keep my eye out for a pimped out version!  :D

I'm a smurfs for a whole lot of reasons, and very few of them result in a very cool little car/tool combo, so enjoy it!  :P
