I've got an older Luxeon version of the E1L and it's a great light. Anybody looking to step up to a Surefire should jump on this. $74 is a good price.

Thanks.

Hey, does the E1L Outdoorsman work well with rechargeable CR123's?  Is the higher voltage safe, and can you still use both light levels?

I am selling the single-level Cree Surefire E1L flashlight. The single-level E1L has considerably longer battery life than the dual level flashlight.

Sorry, I have no experience with rechargeable 123 batteries.

I'm glad I asked.  The Surefire website seems to only list the E1L Cree Outdoorsman as a two-level light, unless I'm missing something.

This month, Surefire changed the E1L and E2L to 2-level lights and changed their web pages accordingly.

OK--I can no longer pass up Package #1.

I'll take it!

BTW, what power level is the Matterhorn? (UP, HP?)  It looks like an old one, so I'm aware that it could be from the era before they offered different levels.  I've not seen one with a knurled head for a long time.
