Brookstone kitchen multi-tool

For an inexpensive Chinese import, this thing really ain't so bad. It is made from heavy die-cast aluminum that is then chrome plated. Not something you'd carry around on your belt certainly, but it would be well at home in your kitchen "catch-all" drawer. Has a bottle cap opener, a jar lid opener, a twist cap opener, pliers, and a corkscrew.

Definitely more practical than Brookstone's other food-related tool, the Barbeque Multi-Tool:  http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,1690.msg18688.html#msg18688 ;)

That's exactly what I was thinking....

I'm glad you are starting to see the animal side of tools!  At this rate I'll have you seeing Piggies in a Spartan Lite in a few more years... :D

Yeah, that barbeque thing is just...

This thing looks useful, if somewhat severely specialized in some ways. At least it has a clear 'sphere of influence', meaning you know what room in the house to keep it in. I'm curious how well the jar opener would work.
